St. Augustine Lighthouse Tours

The current lighthouse that you see when you visit St. Augustine's lighthouse is a new tower that replaced the old one in 1876.
The original lighthouse tower was a Spanish structure that was modified to become a lighthouse in 1824.
The old tower collapsed in 1880. The ruins of the tower can still be seen at the shoreline today.

Lighthouse enthusiasts will enjoy the famous St. Augustine lighthouse.
This 1874 lighthouse and museum is located in the northern part of Anastasia island of St. Augustine, Florida.
This lighthouse provides kids camp summer programs, night tours and a lighthouse archaeological maritime program (LAMP).

The Lamp program of St. Augustine's lighthouse researches and explores the historical aspect of Florida's oldest port.
Shipwrecks and other significant happenings and places located in the surrounding water are studied.
